The Library is a silent witness to the tragedy, preserving words even as the world outside turns to dust.

For Nier, reading these books provides emotional grounding and context for his journey. They serve as a bridge between the living present and the dead past, though they offer no direct clues about the fate of the Replicants or a cure.
